ZAMBIA VISAS:

Citizens of following countries do not need a visa to enter Zambia:

Our charge includes checking your visa documents, attending the embassy to submit your documents as well as to collect the passport from the embassy once your visa is released. Our fees are inclusive of VAT but does not include your chosen method of return postage. 

Although this visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue you will only be authorised to stay for a maximum of 30 days.

ZAMBIA TRANSIT VISAS:

Required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to another country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours providing holding confirmed onward tickets and documents for their onward journey & not leaving the airport. Currently not available to nationals of: Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Chile, China (Peoples Republic), Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Greece, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea (Rep of), India, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Iran, Lebanon, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Turkey & the UAE.

A visa is required for an overnight stop 

ZAMBIA HEALTH:

There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.

Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.

Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country. Rabies. 

ZAMBIA WEATHER:

In lowland areas there is no real cool season but with a hotter period between Oct-Feb which is also the rainy season. In the upland areas temperatures are lower. In the higher regions frost is not uncommon especially during the dry period between Apr-Aug. Rainfall mainly occurs during Oct-Mar and is at its height between Dec-Feb.
