VENEZUELA VISAS:

Holders of passports of the following countries can visit Venezuela without a visa for up to 90 days;
European Union/EFTA, Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Bolivia (must hold confirmation of hotel reservation or notarized invitation letter), Brazil, Canada, Chile, China (applies to holders of normal passports endorsed "For Public Affairs" only), Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Ecuador, Grenada, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Iran (15 days), Jamaica, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Palestine, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, South Africa, South Korea, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey and Uruguay.

VENEZUELA TRANSIT VISAS:

Required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to another country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours provided holding tickets with confirmed seats. 

No hotel facility within the transit, visa must be obtained prior to travel

VENEZUELA HEALTH:

There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.

Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.

Risks: Malaria risk throughout the year in some rural areas of Apure, Amazonas, Barinas, Bolivar, Sucre & Tachira states, municipal jungle areas of Amazonas (Atabapo), Bolivar (Cedeno, Gran Sabana, Sifontes, Raul Leoni and Sucre) & Delta Amacuro (Antonia Diaz, Casacoina & Pedernales). Rabies.

VENEZUELA WEATHER:

High temperatures throughout the year although cooler at higher altitudes. The main rainy season is between Apr-Oct although towards the west this can become twice as wet for a longer period.
