SEYCHELLES VISAS:

All foreign nationals visiting Seychelles are granted visa free access. They must be in a possession of a valid passport, return or onward ticket, proof of accommodation and sufficient funds. The Visitor’s Permit is issued free of charge and is initially valid for up to three months but it can be extended for a fee for a period of up to three months with further extensions not exceeding total period of twelve months. 

Citizens of the United Arab Emirates do not require a Visitor’s Permit up to 90 days.

SEYCHELLES TRANSIT VISAS:

Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to another country by the same or first connecting aircraft provided holding confirmed tickets and documents for their onward journey.

SEYCHELLES HEALTH:

Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from or travelling through infected areas or for those who have passed through partly or wholly endemic area within the preceding 6 days. The countries & areas included in the endemic zones are considered as infected areas.  Infants under 1 year are exempt.

Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Polio, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.

Risks: Rabies.

SEYCHELLES WEATHER:

Warm and humid temperatures all year round. The year can be divided into two trade wind seasons. The south east trade wind which blows fairly steadily from May-Oct and the North West trade wind from Nov-Apr. The coolest period is between Jun-Aug & the warmest between Dec-Apr. Sudden, short tropical downpours can occur at any time. The wettest months are Dec & Jan.

Hotel Classification in Seychelles: There is no official hotel classification system in the Seychelles.
