LATVIA TRANSIT VISAS:

Required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to a third country on the same day by the same or first connecting aircraft without leaving the transit area, provided holding confirmed onward tickets & documentation for their onward travel, arriving & departing from/to non-Schengen countries (except nationals of: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Congo Dem Rep, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia & Sri Lanka, Unless being EU Members or holding residence permits/visas issued by Andorra, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Ireland Rep, Japan, Romania, San Marino, United Kingdom or United States)

LATVIA HEALTH:

Participants of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC scheme) which allows visitors on short-term stays to other member countries to use the public health care sector for free or reduced-cost medical treatment and emergency care.

There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.

Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, TB, Tetanus, Tick-Borne Encephalitis & Typhoid.

Risks: Rabies.
