HUNGARY TRANSIT VISAS:

Transit visas for Hungary are required by all except those continuing their journey to a third country on the same day without leaving the airport transit area & arriving & departing from/to a non-Schengen country, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation (except nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Congo, Congo Dem Rep, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan & Syria, Unless being EU Members or holding residence permits/visas issued by Andorra, Canada, Cyprus, Ireland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Romania, United Kingdom or United States)

HUNGARY HEALTH:

Participants of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC scheme) which allows visitors on short-term stays to other member countries to use the public health care sector for free or reduced-cost medical treatment and emergency care. 

There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.

Recommended immunisations: Tick-Borne Encephalitis.
