GUYANA TRANSIT VISAS:

Transit visas for Guyana are required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft within 7 hours without leaving the airport (Except nationals of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, China (People Rebublic), Cuba, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzatan, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Tajikstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan & Vietnam)

GUYANA HEALTH:

Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas.

Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.

Risks: Malaria risk is high all year in all parts of the interior, sporadic cases have been reported from the densely populated coastal belt. Rabies.

GUYANA WEATHER:

The lowlands have an equatorial type climate which is hot, wet & can be oppressive as there is little change from day to day. Inland rainfall and temperatures are lower. The periods of most rainfall are between May-Jul & Nov-Jan
