Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas. All infants under 1 year are exempt.

Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.

Hints for Dominica: Business is conducted in English, not many executives speak a second language. In business an informal attitude prevails. On social occasions dress as for business meetings unless otherwise indicated. The minimum drinking age is 18 years. It is advisable to ask for permission before taking photographs of local persons
Tipping in Dominica: Service charges are usually included in the bill, if so tips are not necessary, however where there is no service charge, tips are around 10%. Taxis do not expect tips
