Algeria transit visas are required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to a third country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours & not leaving the airport transit area, provided holding confirmed onward/return tickets, relevant documentation & sufficient funds

The Atlas Mountains and Plateaux have a more extreme climate with hotter summers and colder winters. Nights can become very cold. Rainfall is low with the wettest seasons being in spring and autumn. The Sahara Desert region has almost no rain and daily temperatures are high, although during winter the nights can be cold.
