VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Vietnam, citizens of Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand & holders of a re-entry permit. HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas. Infants under 1 year are exempt. Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Japanese B Encephalitis, Malaria, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid. Risks: Malaria exists throughout the country, excluding urban centres, the Red River delta and the coastal plain areas of central Vietnam. Risk is highest in highland areas below 1,500 metres south of 18°N, particularly in the provinces of Dak Lak, Gia Lai & Kon Tum, and southern provinces of Ca Mau, Bac Lieu & Tay Ninh. Rabies. WEATHER: The rainy season is from May-Aug in the north but lasts until Nov in the south. Average temperatures are about 25°C all year. All passports must be valid for six months and must have two clear pages available.

The visa will take 7 working days in the embassy to issue. Please note that visas are issued according to the dates on the application form. VISA FEES: Single entry tourist visa £38.00 + service £25.00 + return postage £7.00 = £70.00 Single entry business visa £40.00 + service £30.00 + return postage £7.00 = £77.00 or Multiple entry visa £70.00 + service £25.00 + return postage £7.00 = £102.00 There is currently a 3 day express service available. Please add an extra £17.00 to your visa fee if you would like to use this service.
