VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Vanuatu, holders of a Visitor's Permit, issued on arrival, valid for 1 month (extension possible up to 4 months) to: citizens of Commonwealth countries & Austria, Belgium, Czech Rep, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France (including French Overseas Departments & Territories), Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland Rep, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain & Sweden & nationals of Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, China, Cuba, Fiji, Japan, Korea (South), Kuwait, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Micronesia, Morocco, Norway, Pakistan, Palau Islands (Belau), Peru, Philippines, Russia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United States & Vatican City.
Visas are obtainable from the Principal Immigration Officer, Private Mail Bag 092, Port Vila, Vanuatu. Application must be approved before entry.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to another country by the same aircraft.
All visitors must hold onward/return tickets, documents required for next destination & sufficient funds for length of stay.
HEALTH: There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.
Risks: Malaria risk is low to moderate all year throughout the country.
WEATHER: Tropical from May-Dec with cooling trade winds. Jan-Apr generally warm with occasional rain.
