VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: United Arab Emirates, citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar & Saudi Arabia, holders of a Visit Visa issued on arrival for stays up to 30 days (extension to 90 days possible, fee AED 500) to holders of British passports, provided the status is "British Citizen", Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (S.A.R. passport holders), Iceland, Ireland Rep, Italy, Japan, Korea (South), Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States & Vatican City.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to another country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 12 hours.
HEALTH: There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Polio, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.
WEATHER: Temperatures are extremely hot between May-Sep, with high humidity in coastal areas & occasional sand storms.
