VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde Islands, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone & holders of a re-entry permit.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours provided holding confirmed tickets and documents for their onward journey.
HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate required by all. Infants under 1 year are exempt.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.
Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country. Rabies.
WEATHER: In the south there are two rainy seasons May-Jul & Sep-Oct and two dry seasons Oct-Apr & Aug-Sep. In the north there is one rainy season Apr-Oct and one dry season Nov-Apr.
