VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Swaziland, for stays up to 60 days in any consecutive 12 months to United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominica, Finland, France, Gambia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Grenada, Guyana, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Portugal, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sweden, Taiwan, Tanzania, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, United States, Vanuatu, Zambia & Zimbabwe.
Persons wishing to stay more than 60 days must obtain a Temporary Residence Permit from the Chief Immigration Office, Box 372, Mbabane.
HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Polio, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.
Risks: Malaria exists all year in all low veld areas (mainly Big Bend, Mhlume, Simunye & Tshaneni). Rabies.
WEATHER: Temperatures are rarely excessive except in the low veld where they can become uncomfortable. In the high veld the climate is more temperate because of the altitude and frosts may occur in winter. Rainfall is limited to summer months (Oct-Mar) but prolonged periods of rain are rare.
