VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Sierra Leone, Guinea & Liberia, for stays of up to 90 days to Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo & holders of a re-entry permit.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to another country by the same aircraft provided they do not leave the airport.
HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.
Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country. Rabies.
WEATHER: The weather between Oct-Apr is dry with hot, sunny days. The rainy season is between May-Sep which reaches a peak in Jul-Aug & is wetter on the coast than inland. Temperatures are high all year on the coast rising even higher during the dry season inland.
