VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Papua New Guinea & persons holding resident status & a valid re-entry permit. TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all. All visitors must hold documents required for next destination & if not holding an onward/return ticket has evidence of funds to purchase a ticket before expiry date of visa. HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas. Infants under 1 year are exempt. Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Japanese B Encephalitis, Malaria, TB, Tetanus &, Typhoid. Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country below 1,800 metres. Rabies. WEATHER: Hot in coastal areas and cooler in the highlands. Many regions attract heavy annual rainfall however Port Moresby is comparatively dry. All passports must be valid for six months.
We advise that you obtain your visa before departure. The visa will take 2 working days to issue in the embassy and is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
YOU WILL NEED: Travcour order form, one application form, two passport size photographs, guarantee letter stating dates and places of entry and exit, copy of tickets or travel itinary and your passport to apply.
VISA FEES: Single entry tourist visa £12.00 + service £25.00 + return postage £7.00 = £44.00 Multiple entry business visa £175.00 + service £40.00 + return postage £7.00 = £222.00
