VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Panama, holders of British passports being `Citizen of the United Kingdom & Colonies' (except passports issued in Hong Kong), Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Israel, Italy, Korea (South), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay, Vatican City  & holders of a Tourist Card issued to nationals of Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, United States & Venezuela.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey within 9 hours provided holding tickets and documents for their next destination ( the passengers are not permitted to leave the airport) & those continuing their journey to a third country by same flight without leaving the aircraft.
All visitors must hold onward/return tickets (overland transportation tickets are not accepted), documents required for next destination & sufficient funds for length of stay
HEALTH: There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.
Risks: Malaria risk is low all year in the provinces of Bocas de Toro in the west and Darien and San Blas in the east. There is little or no risk in other areas. Rabies.
WEATHER: Hot temperatures and plentiful rainfall which mainly falls between May-Nov. Rainfall is greater on the lowlands on the northern or Caribbean coast with almost twice as much rain as the Pacific coast.
