VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia & United Arab Emirates, provided born in country of nationality. TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft provided holding confirmed onward tickets and documents for their next destination for a maximum stay of 72 hours. HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas. Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Polio, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid. Risks: Malaria, very limited risk exists in remote areas of Musandam province. Rabies. WEATHER: The rainy season on the south coast is between Jun-Sep whilst in the mountains and lowlands of the north rain may fall during any month. Rainfall is greater in the northern mountains than the rest of the country. On the coast temperatures are high during the year but especially between May-Aug when it is at it’s hottest. Inland temperatures are even higher although made more bearable by lower humidity. All passports must be valid for six months.
We advise that you obtain your visa before departure. The visa will take 5 working days in the embassy to issue and is valid for 3-12 months from the date of issue with a stay of three weeks per entry .
