VISAS: Visas are required by all nationals.
Visas are issued on arrival for stays up to 30 days provided holding a valid passport, return ticket & pre-arranged hotel booking.  Where a visa is required in advance applications should be made in writing to: Principal Immigration Officer, Republic of Nauru, Central Pacific, tel: +674 444 3161, fax: +674 444 3189.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same or first connecting aircraft without leaving the airport, provided holding onward tickets & documents for their next destination.
HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas. Infants under 1 year are exempt.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.
WEATHER: High temperatures throughout the year. Monsoon season is between Nov-Feb. Rainfall is plentiful and evenly spread although there is a wetter period between Jun-Jan.
