VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Moldova, for stays of up to 90 days in a 6 month period to United Kingdom, Austria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Rep of, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United States & Uzbekistan.
Visas can be obtained on arrival for citizens from countries where there is no Moldova consulate except the Ireland Rep who can obtain their visa from London.
HEALTH: A reciprocal health agreement for medical treatment exists with the United Kingdom. In order to obtain treatment some proof of United Kingdom residence such as a UK passport will be required.
There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, TB, Tetanus, Tick-Borne Encephalitis & Typhoid.
Risks: Rabies.
WEATHER: Temperate with warm summers, crisp, sunny autumns and cold, snowy winters.
