VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Iran, for stays of up to 3 months to Macedonia, Turkey & holders of re-entry permits & compulsory working permits.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey within 24 hours provided holding confirmed tickets and documents for their onward travel.
HEALTH: There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Polio, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.
Risks: Malaria, limited risk in some areas north of the Zagros mountains and in western and south-western regions during the summer months. Risk from Mar-Nov in rural areas of the provinces of Sistan-Baluchestan, Hormozgan and Kerman (tropical part). Rabies.
WEATHER: Extremes of heat and cold between the summer and winter and rainfall is  confined to winter and spring. Summers are hot with virtually continuous sunshine. High temperatures can be experienced along the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea and travellers should be careful with heat exhaustion. Winter is very changeable with mild, wet spells but  some very cold periods with frost and snow. A small area along the Caspian coast has the heaviest  rainfall between late summer to mid winter but falls throughout the year.

All passports must be valid for six months.

The visa will take 4- 10 working days in the embassy to issue once we have received the authorisation which you should obtain from your tour operator & is valid for 3 months from issue date with a stay of 7- 21 days.
Extensions for 30 more days possible in Tehran

Travcour order form, two visa application forms, two passport size photographs, authorisation and your passport to apply.
(Ladies must have the head covered in the photographs.)
