VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Guinea, Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Romania, Senegal, Serbia & Montenegro, Sierra Leone, Togo, Tunisia & holders of a re-entry permit.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same aircraft.

HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas. Infants under 1 year are exempt.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.

WEATHER: Usually dry hot between Oct-Mar and rainy between Apr-Sep which rises to a peak in Jul-Aug. Temperatures are high throughout the year on the coast and are especially high inland during the dry season although humidity is lower.
