VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: holders of passports containing the endorsement "Indefinite leave to remain in the UK" or a multi visa to enter the UK which is valid for 12 months or more, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland Rep, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden & holders of United States passports.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons arriving by air & continuing their journey by air to a third country within 24 hours, provided holding onward tickets & documentation.
HEALTH: A reciprocal health agreement for medical treatment exists with the United Kingdom. In order to obtain treatment some proof of United Kingdom residence such as UK passport will be required. There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Tetanus & Polio.
WEATHER: Mediterranean climate with warm to hot summers with little rain. Winters are fairly mild but considerably wetter than much of southern Spain.
