VISAS FOR CZECH REPUBLIC

VISAS:The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Czech Rep, for an unlimited stay by British citizens holding a full British passport & holders of British passports endorsed `Holder has the right of abode in the United Kingdom' or `Holder is entitled to re-admission to the United Kingdom', Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain & Sweden.For tourist visits up to 90 days by nationals of Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong (S.A.R. passport holders), Israel, Japan, Korea (South), Macao (S.A.R. passport holders), Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Switzerland, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela & for tourist visits up to 30 days by nationals of Singapore.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and Persons not leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed onward tickets & documentation (except nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Sri Lanka & Syria unless holding a valid residence permit for Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden or United Kingdom or hold permanent or long-term residence permit in Andorra, Canada, Japan, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland or United States).

HEALTH: Participants of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC scheme) which allows visitors on short-term stays to other member countries to use the public health care sector for free or reduced-cost medical treatment and emergency care. Although there are no compulsory vaccinations we recommend all travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month have the following: Hepatitis & tick-borne encephalitis.
WEATHER: Weather is changeable throughout the year although conditions during winter are likely to be the most settled. Winter temperatures can be very low due to cold easterly winds. Rainfall is low in winter  & the wettest seasons being in spring and summer. Summers are moderately warm.
