VISAS:The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Congo, Gabon & holders of a re-entry permit.( A Lodging Certificate provided by relatives in Congo & authorised by City Hall & the Immigration Authorities is required by visitors or evidence of hotel reservations by tourists) TRANSIT VISAS: Transit visas are not available. HEALTH: Yellow fever certificate is required by all except infants under 1 year. We also recommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month have the following up to date immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever. Malaria is a risk all year throughout the country. All passports must be valid for six months. WEATHER: Temperatures & humidity can be high throughout the year. Heavy rain falls in the more northerly regions from Jan-May & Oct-Dec. In the south rainfall is lower & on the coast well distributed throughout the year with a distinct dry season between Jun-Sep.
