VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Brunei Darussalam, for stays up to 90 days by holders of United States passports, for stays up to 30 days by British nationals with the right of abode in United Kingdom & nationals of Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland Rep, Italy, Korea (South), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Slovenia & United Arab Emirates & for stays up to 14 days by nationals of Canada, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Liechtenstein, Maldives, Myanmar, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & Thailand.
Visas are obtainable on arrival for stays up to 30 days to nationals of Australia, Bahrain, Kuwait, provided holding confirmed onward ticket & sufficient funds for intended stay. Visas are also available upon arrival for stays up to 14 days to nationals of Qatar.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except persons continuing their journey to another country by the same or first connecting flight without leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation for next destination.
HEALTH: (Compulsory vaccinations:) Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas or have passed through partly or wholly endemic areas within the preceding 6 days. The countries & areas included in the endemic zones are considered as infected areas. It is also recommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month have the following up to date immunisations: Diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, Japanese B encephalitis, TB, tetanus & typhoid.
WEATHER: High temperatures, humidity & rainfall throughout the year, with particularly heavy rainfall between Nov-Mar.

All passports must be valid for six months.
