VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Bosnia & Herzegovina, United Kingdom, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Italy, Japan, Korea (South), Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, San Marino, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, United States, Vatican City, for stays up to 90 days by nationals of Israel & holders of The Sovereign Military Order of Malta.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except persons continuing their journey to a thrid country by the same or first connecting aircraft without leaving the airport transit area, provided holding onward tickets & documentation.
HEALTH: A reciprocal health agreement for medical treatment exists with the United Kingdom. In order to obtain treatment some proof of United Kingdom residence such as a UK passport will be required. UK residents who are not UK nationals will need a certificate of insurance from HM Revenue and Customs Centre for non-residents. Further details are available from www.dh.gov.uk. There are no current compulsory vaccinations in place, however it is r ecommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month have the following up to date immunisations: Diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, TB, tetanus, tick-borne encephalitis & typhoid.
