The following nationals DO require a visa: Macedonia & Slovak.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation (except nationals of Morocco, refugees & stateless persons) & persons continuing their journey on the same aircraft & not leaving the airport (except nationals of Morocco, refugees & stateless persons).All visitors must hold onward/return tickets & sufficient funds for length of stay.
HEALTH: A reciprocal health agreement for medical treatment and prescribed medicines for children and the elderly exists with the United Kingdom. In order to obtain treatment some proof of United Kingdom residence such as a NHS medical card or UK passport will be required. Further details are available from www.dh.gov.uk.
(Compulsory vaccinations:) Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas. It is also recommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month also have up to date immunisations for Diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, TB, tetanus & typhoid.
WEATHER: Barbados is the most easterly Windward Island. Temperatures are hot throughout the year although never unbearable & sea breezes help counterbalance the humidity. Rain falls throughout the year although the wettest months are Jun-Nov. Hurricanes can occur between Jul-Nov.
All passports must be valid for six months.
