VISAS FOR ANTIGUA & BARBUDA

VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa: Antigua & Barbuda, For stays of up to 6 months by British citizens, For stays of up to 1 month by nationals of Cuba, Citizens of Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominica, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guyana, Hungary, Ireland Rep, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Korea (South), Kyrgyzstan, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Namibia, Nauru, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway (& Territories), Papua New Guinea, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Spain, Suriname, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uganda, Ukraine, United States, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Venezuela & Zambia.
TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours, provided holding valid documents (except refugees & stateless persons).

HEALTH: (Compulsory vaccinations:) Yellow fever certificate if arriving from infected areas.
It is also reccommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month also have the immunisations for Diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, TB, tetanus, typhoid.
WEATHER: Antigua is the largest Leeward Island. Hot throughout the year and slightly cooler during winter. The heat is never too sticky as the humidity is counterbalanced by sea breezes. The islands are generally drier than many others in the Caribbean, with the main rainy season between Jul-Oct when torrential rain or occasional hurricanes can occur.

 

All visitors must hold confirmed onward/return tickets & sufficient funds for length of stay
