Validity of visas are restricted to the dates applied on your invitation.
TURKMENISTAN VISAS: Visas are required by all nationals.
TURKMENISTAN TRANSIT VISAS: Not required for those continuing to a third country within 24 hours provided holding confirmed onward tickets, all documents for their next destination and not leaving the transit area. No hotel accommodation is available at the airport.
TURKMENISTAN HEALTH: A reciprocal health agreement for medical treatment exists with the United Kingdom. In order to obtain treatment some proof of United Kingdom residence such as a UK passport will be required.
There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, TB, Tetanus, Tick-Borne Encephalitis & Typhoid.
Risks: Malaria exists from Jun-Oct in some villages located in the south eastern part of the country, mainly in Mary District. Rabies.
