AZERBAIJAN VISAS:
The following nationals DO NOT require a visa for Azerbaijan: Azerbaijan, Belarus, China (Tourist purposes only), Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine & Uzbekistan
The following nationals DO NOT require a visa for Azerbaijan if in possession of diplomatic passports only: Albania, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Cuba, Estonia, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Macedonia, Mexico, Montenegro, Morocco, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam
AZERBAIJAN TRANSIT VISAS:
Azerbaijan transit visas are required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to a third country within 72 hours & not leaving the airport transit area, provided holding confirmed onward tickets
AZERBAIJAN HEALTH:
A reciprocal health agreement for medical treatment exists with the United Kingdom in Azerbaijan. In order to obtain treatment some proof of United Kingdom residence such as a UK passport will be required. Further details are available from www.dh.gov.uk. Theare are no compulsory immunisations in place, however, it is recommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month are up to date with Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, TB, Tetanus, Tick-borne encephalitis & Typhoid.
Malaria is a risk from Jun-Oct in the southern border areas and the Khackmas region of the north.
