

BERMUDA VISAS: The following nationals REQUIRE a visa: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Cuba, Djibouti, Egypt, Georgia, Ghana, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (North), Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam & Yemen.
Visas are not required by visa controlled nationals who have the right to reside in the United States (permanent residents), Canada (holders of Permanent Resident (PR) Card), or United Kingdom (those with indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom) and are in possession of proof of such status & a valid passport. The permitted length of stay by bona-fide visitors is determined on arrival.
BERMUDA TRANSIT VISAS: Required by nationals of Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Georgia, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea (North), Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan & Vietnam who transit more than 5 hours.
All visitors must hold onward/return tickets & documents required for next destination, persons requiring visas to enter other countries after their stay in Bermuda must be in possession of such visas prior to arrival in Bermuda as there are no local facilities for obtaining foreign visas.
BERMUDA HEALTH: There are no compulsory vaccinationsin place, however it is recommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month have the following up to date immunisations: Hepatitis A, hepatitis B, TB & tetanus.
BERMUDA WEATHER: Bermuda lies in the North Atlantic & enjoys a sub-tropical climate without a rainy season. Summers are warm to hot, the sunniest months being Jul-Sep. Late summer can see the fading effects of Caribbean hurricanes usually in the form of high winds & rough seas. Winters are mild with plenty of sunny days. Conditions can be changeable between the main seasons. Rain falls throughout the year, usually as showers which pass over the island quickly.
