CAPE VERDE takes 15 working days to issue in the embassy & is valid for 3 months from the date of issue . We recommend you send us your documents by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please ensure you send us the following documentation as failure to do so will result in a delay in issuing your visa.

CAPE VERDE VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa:
Nationals or persons born in Cape Verde & former nationals of Cape Verde (including their wives, husbands or children), provided holding proof thereof & nationals of Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone & Togo
CAPE VERDE TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same aircraft without leaving the airport, provided holding onward/return tickets.
CAPE VERDE HEALTH: (Compulsory vaccinations:) Yellow fever certificate if arriving from countries having notified cases in the last 6 years.It is also recommended that travellers making 3 or more visits per year, stays of more than 3 months in a rural area, high-risk occupational groups & backpackers staying more than 1 month have the following up to date immunisations: Diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, polio, TB, tetanus & typhoid.
Malaria, limited risk exists from Sep-Nov in Sao Tiago Island.
CAPE VERDE WEATHER: Tropical temperatures with no real cool season although there is a slight reduction from Dec-Mar. Rainfall can be unreliable and low and mostly falls between Aug-Oct.
