For stays of up to 3 months to: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Central African Rep, Chad, Congo, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Togo & Tunisia
For stays of up to 90 days to: United States
Visitors must hold confirmed accommodation and all documents required for their next destination.
COTE D'IVOIRE TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same or first connecting aircraft on the same day without leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed tickets.
COTE D'IVOIRE HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate required by all. All infants under 1 year are exempt.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.
Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country. Rabies.
COTE D'IVOIRE WEATHER: Humidity is high throughout the year. There are two rainy seasons in the south & along the coast between Oct-Dec & Mar-Jul, the latter having torrential downpours, although rain can be expected at any time of year along the coast. Inland & northern areas have a single rainy season between May-Sep & a long distinct dry season.
