Travel Visa Information for CROATIA

CROATIA VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa:
Croatia
For tourist visits of up to 3 months to: holders of British passports endorsed British Citizen, British National (Overseas) or British Overseas Territories Citizen & nationals of Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Czech Rep, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong (S.A.R. passport holders), Hungary, Iceland, Ireland Rep, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep of), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao (S.A.R. passport holders), Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City & Venezuela
For stays of up to 30 days to nationals of Korea (South) & Russia provided private visitors hold a certified letter of guarantee by sponsor or tourist visitors travelling on an organised package tour with prepaid voucher order for services.
Visitors must hold sufficient funds for their stay (EUR 150 per day of stay). Confirmed return/onward tickets and valid documents must also be held, though nationals of EU member states are exempt.
CROATIA TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except those as noted above and persons continuing their journey to a third country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 48 hours without leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed onward tickets & documentation (except nationals of Bosnia & Herzegovina).
CROATIA HEALTH:  A reciprocal health agreement for medical, dental and hospital treatment exists with the United Kingdom. In order to obtain treatment some proof of United Kingdom residence such as UK passport or NHS medical card will be required.
There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, TB, Tetanus, Tick-Borne Encephalitis & Typhoid.
Risks: Rabies.
CROATIA WEATHER: Mediterranean climates along the coast line with mild winters and hot summers. The fine weather during summer is occasionally interrupted by thunderstorms which increase in frequency from south to north. Autumn and winter rainfall can be quite heavy. Continental climate inland with the more mountainous regions being cooler.
