All visitors must have return/onward tickets, all documents required by the next destination and sufficient funds to cover their stay. Visa exemptions or Tourist Card facilities are not applicable to those persons holding a foreign passport who were born in Cuba as they must apply for a Entry Permit . Citizens or legal alien residents of a country which has no Cuban representation and are eligible for a visa waiver may apply through the intermediary of the carrier. Journeys may only commence when authorisation has been received from that carrier in Cuba. Such persons must hold a through or return ticket stating `Visa waiver for Cuba granted'. Tourist Cards (Tarjeta del Turista) are valid for tourist visits by foreign nationals who have contracted a tourist programme or have made hotel reservations through a travel agency officially recognised by the Cuban Tourism Enterprise. Tourist Cards may be purchased from Travcour (UK) Ltd. The card should be typed or filled out in block capital letters with the seal of the agency affixed to the back. The card may be used for one entry only with a maximum validity of 30 days (extension possible) and authorises the holder for a stay in Cuba covered by the hotel reservation and tour programme. This stay may be extended by the hotel. Visas are required prior to travel.
CUBA TRANSIT VISAS: Required by all except persons continuing their journey to a third country within 72 hours after arrival, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation for next destination, plus funds for their maintenance of USD 50 per person per day or equivalent. HEALTH: There are currently no compulsory vaccinations required.
Recommended immunisations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.

CUBA WEATHER: Hot, sub-tropical all year round. Rainfall is heavier in the north than in the south, with the hills being the wettest area. Most rainfall is during May-Oct and hurricanes possible between Aug-Nov. Cooler months are Nov-Apr.
