GHANA visas take 2-6 working days (after appointment date) to issue in the embassy. We recommend you send us your documents by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please ensure you send us the following documentation as failure to do so will result in a delay in issuing your visa.

Please note that this embassy offers 2 express service types. Prices above are for the 72 hour express service. The 24 hour express service fees are as follows;

The embassy are paid in postal orders  -  Post Office 12.5% commission has been added to the fees.

GHANA VISAS: The following nationals DO NOT require a visa for Ghana: Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote D’Ivoire, Egypt, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago, Uganda & Zimbabwe

GHANA TRANSIT VISAS: Transit visas for Ghana are required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours without leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation

GHANA HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate required by all.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.
Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country. Rabies.

Hints for Ghana: It is the convention to use the right and not the left hand when shaking hands and passing or receiving anything. Body language differences include the custom of a greater degree of physical contact compared with Western Europe
