The following nationals DO NOT require a visa for Ghana:
For 90 days to citizens from ECOWAS States by virtue of the protocol on
Free Movement of persons, the Right of Residence and Establishment (PROTOCOL
A/P1/5/79): Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote D'Ivoire, The Gambia, Guinea,
Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
Holders of Diplomatic, Service or Official passports for the following
nationals: Brazil, Cuba, Germany, Iran and Namibia.
All nationals of the following countries: Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi,
Namibia, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago and Uganda
All persons in direct airside transit are exempt from visa requirements.
GHANA TRANSIT VISAS:
Transit visas for Ghana are required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours without leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation.
Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate required by all.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.
Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country. Rabies.
