INDIA visas take 3 working days to issue in the embassy & is valid for 3-6 months from the date of issue . We recommend you send us your documents by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please ensure you send us the following documentation as failure to do so will result in a delay in issuing your visa.

NOTE: If travelling to any restricted areas in India (Sikkim, Mizoram, Nagaland, Andaman-Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Mundgod, Portplair, Manipur, Gangtok, Changabang, Kalimpong) please contact us for further advice as an extra form will need to be submitted with your visa application. You will also be charged an extra £20.00 at the Indian embassy.
NOTE: Non UK Nationals will require a copy of a recent (current month) utility bill as well as a 2 year old (no older than 30 months) utility bill to accompany their visa application. Please note that bank statements are no longer accepted. If this cannot be supplied your India visa will be referred and can take up to 6 weeks to process. The Indian embassy will also charge you an extra £10.00.
For stays of up to 90 days to nationals of Maldives
Tourists should apply for a tourist visa in preference to an ordinary visa before travel. Without a visa entry will be refused
Foreign nationals arriving in India on long term multiple entry visas are required to register with the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Officer within 14 days of arrival. Overstayers will be fined and may be prosecuted or detained and later deported
INDIA TRANSIT VISAS: Transit visas are required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours by the same form of transport & not leaving an airport, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation
INDIA HEALTH: Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate if arriving within 6 days from an infected area or have been in transit in an infected area (except those who while in transit through an airport in an infected area, remained within the airport during the period of their entire stay) or has come on a ship that started or disembarked at any port in an infected area up to 30 days before arrival in India (unless it has been disinsected) or has come on an aircraft which has been in an infected area and has not been disinsected. Infants under 6 months are exempt. When a case of yellow fever is reported from any country, that country is regarded as infected.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Japanese B Encephalitis, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus & Typhoid.
Risks: Malaria exists all year below 2,000 metres except in parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Kashmir and Sikkim. Rabies.
